Tie length and width: the rules you should follow

Length

Tip of the tie should land at the middle of your belt buckle. Higher = juvenile. Lower = sloppy.

Width

Tie width should mirror lapel width. Skinny lapel? Skinny tie. Wide lapel? Wide tie.
